Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Automotive Marketing Director to support marketing initiatives for Hi Tech Motorcars.



This role serves as the operational hub of the organization’s marketing efforts, partnering closely with dealership leadership, manufacturer representatives, vendors, and the group’s centralized marketing support team to ensure initiatives are executed efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with business objectives.


The Automotive Marketing Director is responsible for translating marketing strategy into execution by coordinating projects, producing events, managing manufacturer programs, supporting dealership operations, and ensuring marketing initiatives move from concept to completion across multiple brands and locations.


This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys balancing strategic awareness with exceptional operational execution.


Primary Responsibilities



Marketing Operations

  • Execute marketing initiatives across multiple dealerships and brands.
  • Manage marketing projects from planning through execution.
  • Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and the centralized marketing support team to ensure timely completion of initiatives.
  • Maintain project timelines, priorities, and action items across concurrent initiatives.
  • Facilitate recurring marketing meetings and ensure accountability for follow-up items.
  • Identify operational roadblocks and proactively drive resolution.
  • Maintain organized marketing documentation, calendars, budgets, and project records.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, including paid, organic, and earned media, while coordinating execution across each channel.



Dealer & Executive Support

  • Serve as the primary marketing resource for dealership leadership.
  • Build trusted relationships with General Managers and department leaders.
  • Conduct regular dealership visits to understand operational priorities and identify marketing opportunities.
  • Gather dealership feedback and translate operational needs into actionable marketing initiatives.
  • Champion adoption and execution of marketing programs throughout the organization.
  • Provide field insight that supports ongoing marketing strategy and performance improvements.



Vendor & Manufacturer Coordination

  • Manage day-to-day communication with manufacturers, agencies, and third-party vendors.
  • Coordinate creative approvals and OEM marketing submissions.
  • Manage manufacturer marketing program participation and ensure compliance with OEM guidelines.
  • Ensure vendor deliverables align with approved timelines and objectives.
  • Support vendor onboarding and relationship management.
  • Coordinate co-op documentation, reimbursement packages, and manufacturer reporting.



Events & Experiential Marketing

  • Produce marketing events ranging from intimate client experiences to large-scale dealership and manufacturer events.
  • Coordinate venues, vendors, entertainment, catering, logistics, staffing, and production schedules.
  • Serve as the on-site marketing lead during events.
  • Manage event timelines, communications, and post-event follow-up.
  • Complete manufacturer event documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Support execution of special funding opportunities and co-op initiatives.



Creative & Content Operations

  • Manage creative requests across multiple dealerships.
  • Coordinate photography, videography, graphic design, digital assets, and print production.
  • Maintain dealership content calendars.
  • Ensure brand standards are consistently maintained across all marketing materials.
  • Organize marketing assets and creative documentation.



Qualifications



Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Three to seven years of experience in marketing, project management, or dealership marketing.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships across departments and organizational levels.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, including paid, organic, and earned media.
  • Experience coordinating external vendors and marketing partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.



Preferred

  • Automotive dealership retail marketing experience.
  • Publicly traded automotive group experienced preferred.
  • Experience with OEM co-op programs and manufacturer marketing guidelines.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, website content management systems, Google Business Profile, Meta Business Suite, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience producing corporate, customer, or experiential events.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and marketing performance reporting.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
