ARA Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a MSK Radiologist to join our highly collaborative and growing MSK section in Austin, Texas. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal imaging while working alongside experienced subspecialists and building strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, rheumatologists, and referring providers throughout Central Texas.

This position offers an engaging case mix with approximately 80% Musculoskeletal Radiology and 20% General Radiology, providing the opportunity to maintain subspecialty focus while remaining clinically diverse. The MSK section is integrated into the general call pool, making comfort with general diagnostic radiology important.

The Opportunity

As an Onsite MSK Radiologist, you will interpret a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies while serving as an integral member of a highly collaborative MSK section.

Your primary focus will be MSK imaging, with the opportunity to maintain a diverse diagnostic practice through general radiology responsibilities and participation in the general call pool.

Clinical responsibilities include:

  • Full spectrum of Musculoskeletal Radiology
  • Musculoskeletal MRI and CT interpretation
  • Musculoskeletal ultrasound
  • Sports medicine and orthopedic imaging
  • Musculoskeletal radiographs
  • Body CT and ultrasound
  • Light general radiology procedures, including thoracentesis, paracentesis, and lumbar puncture
  • Light head and spine CT
  • General diagnostic radiology interpretation
  • Participation in the general call pool
  • Collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine specialists, rheumatologists, and referring physicians
  • Participation in multidisciplinary conferences and educational opportunities
  • Delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality interpretations that support exceptional patient care
  • No neuro or body MRI is required.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Fellowship-trained in MSK
  • Comfortable with the full spectrum of MSK imaging
  • Experience with MSK ultrasound preferred
  • Comfortable interpreting general diagnostic radiology studies
  • Interest or experience in light general radiology procedures preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to clinical excellence
  • Eligible for Texas medical licensure
  • Current fellows and residents are encouraged to apply
  • Eligible for Texas medical licensure
