The Role
T1 Energy is looking to hire a Commercial Paralegal to provide hands-on support for a wide range of commercial agreements and matters across the business, including sales and customer contracts as well as procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, and operational contracts. You'll help legal and commercial teams move fast by keeping contracts and matters organized, accurate, and moving through review, execution, and resolution.
You'll work closely with commercial counsel and business teams to prepare and manage agreements, support commercial contracting processes and diligence, maintain scalable contract processes, refine templates and playbooks, and create clarity around legal intake, approvals, signatures, and contract records.
What You'll Do
Prepare initial drafts and redlines of commercial agreements using approved templates and playbooks, including sales and customer agreements, procurement, supply, manufacturing, services, NDAs, and vendor contracts, under attorney supervision.
Support development and construction-related contracting for T1 Energy's manufacturing operations, including document coordination, redline tracking, approvals, and execution.
Manage contract intake and workflows; gather business information, route matters, maintain trackers, and follow up on action items.
Create and maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and playbooks to increase speed and consistency.
Coordinate approvals, signatures, execution, and archival management; maintain organized contract records and key agreement data.
Partner closely with sales, commercial, operations, procurement, and other teams to keep contracting processes moving and identify matters requiring attorney review.
Support RFPs and customer and supplier questionnaires, including coordinating legal and compliance inputs, gathering and validating responses, and tracking submissions and follow-up items.
Support contracting diligence and compliance activities, including counterparty, customer, and supplier diligence; collection and review of certifications and compliance documentation; document summaries; and tracking of required deliverables, with escalation of legal issues to counsel.
Support commercial litigation and dispute matters, including legal holds, document collection and organization, discovery support, factual development, matter tracking, and coordination with internal and outside counsel.
Coordinate with outside counsel and vendors as needed, including document exchange, matter tracking, and invoice administration.
Who You Are
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong document and process management skills.
Business-oriented and pragmatic; you know how to keep work moving while escalating issues appropriately.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling manufacturing environment.
Clear, direct communicator who can coordinate effectively across legal and business teams.
Proactive and dependable; someone who sees legal as a partner to growth, not just a gatekeeper.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree or paralegal certification preferred.
4+ years of relevant paralegal, contracts, or legal operations experience; in-house experience strongly preferred.
Experience supporting sales and customer agreements, procurement, supply, manufacturing, services, and other commercial contracts.
Experience preparing first drafts and redlines from templates and managing contracts through review, approval, signature, and filing.
Experience supporting RFPs, customer or supplier questionnaires, contracting diligence, and commercial compliance processes preferred.
Experience supporting commercial litigation or disputes, including document collection, discovery, or matter management, preferred.
Experience in the solar industry, manufacturing, energy, or a related technical/industrial sector preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with e-signature, contract lifecycle management, or legal document management systems.
Strong cross-functional coordination, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
