How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Support the pharmacist and clinical team by accurately and compliantly executing all technical pharmacy services to promote safe and timely patient care.
  • Execute precise sterile and non-sterile compounding and bulk medication repackaging, adhering to all quality control standards and aseptic techniques.
  • Ensure medication availability and integrity by maintaining and actively replenishing automated dispensing systems and managing pharmacy inventory.
  • Act as a critical communication link, triaging incoming calls and providing essential, accurate information to patients and the multidisciplinary healthcare team

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • One or more of the following required:
    • Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy Tech intern would be acceptable in lieu of.
    • Pharmacy Intern obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
