Job Description

Tokyo Electron US Holdings is seeking a Physical Security Manager to develop and mature a world-class physical security program across multiple U.S. locations.

This role is responsible for protecting employees, facilities, critical assets, intellectual property, and business operations through practical, risk-based security solutions. The successful candidate will oversee physical security operations while partnering closely with stakeholders across the organization to build a security culture that supports both protection and innovation.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and pragmatic. They understand that effective security programs are built through relationships, education, and influence rather than mandates. They take time to understand the environment before implementing change and consistently balance security requirements with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement physical security strategies, standards, policies, and procedures across multiple U.S. sites.
  • Manage physical security operations, including access control, video surveillance, visitor management, alarms, investigations, and incident response.
  • Lead contract security personnel, vendors, and direct reports.
  • Conduct security assessments and recommend practical risk reduction measures.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify and protect critical assets, facilities, technologies, and intellectual property.
  • Collaborate with Counterintelligence, Critical Asset Protection, and Security Awareness teams to support integrated security objectives.
  • Promote a positive security culture through communication, awareness, and partnership.
  • Track program performance through metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate physical security, security operations, or related fields.
  • Experience managing security programs, vendors, and contract security personnel.
  • Knowledge of physical security technologies including access control, video surveillance, and visitor management systems.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting technology, semiconductor, manufacturing, or other intellectual property-driven industries.
  • Experience building or maturing physical security programs.
  • ASIS certifications such as CPP or PSP.
