We’re searching for a Physician Assistant, someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position, you’ll practice in an advanced role to provide developmentally appropriate and age-appropriate care for children. You’ll also be involved in education, consultation, research, and evaluation of clinical practice at various levels.
Skills & Requirements
•    Bachelor’s degree required
•    Master’s degree preferred
•    PA – Certified Physician Assistant by Texas Medical Board required
•    2 years of pediatric patient care experience preferred

Job Duties & Responsibilities
•    Utilizes knowledge and skills on a daily basis to systematically collect and evaluate health assessment data, and to manage a caseload of patients
•    Collaborates effectively with other members of the healthcare disciplines to provide comprehensive care to patients
•    Utilizes effective and appropriate interviewing skills to elicit information from patient and/or family and collaborates with them in the development of the plan of care
•    Identifies and documents patient/family learning needs, readiness to learn, and level of understanding, incorporating family culture and belief systems on all patients
•    Communicates research findings to other healthcare professionals and integrates findings into clinical practice as observed by evaluation of written/oral reports
•    Maintains current professional, managerial, and/or technical knowledge and skills through literature and attending development and continuing education programs annually
•    Practices independently or interdependently in the PA role
