Description
The ideal candidate will collaborate with and provide architectural guidance to cross-functional engineering teams in defining and establishing system power architecture requirements for new products. The role may occasionally involve domestic and international travel.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience, BS/MS in relevant fields Must have strong EE fundamentals and problems solving skills Must have experience in power electronics related design and development, including DC-DC converters and LDOs. Knowledge of power, analog and integrated circuit design fundamentals, process development, and analytical methodology for high-quality designs Experience in architecture design of complex power conversion systems or power management ICs. Strong laboratory board-level testing, debugging and validation experience with lab equipments, such as oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and signal generators. Ability to employ scientific and systematic methods to troubleshoot and drive resolutions of multi-disciplinary system issues. Experience in layout planning and routing strategies. Ability to relate electrical performance to physical layout and system level solutions, including passive components and controls. Experience in cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
7+years of experience, PhD in relevant fields Experience in taking projects from the conceptual phase through product ramp-up and mass production. Knowledge and work experience of various integrated circuit process technologies, design flows, reliability, and other related topics. Experience performing or guiding complex power distribution networks (PDN) design for sophisticated power conversion systems. Knowledge and Hands-on experience in circuit and EM simulation tools, such as Cadence/Sigrity, ADS/Spice/Spectre, Ansys HFSS/Maxwell/SIWave, and CST.
