Responsibilities
How you’ll make an impact in this roleÂ
- Controls, starts, and shuts down primary and auxiliary power plant equipment—including boilers, turbines, generators, pumps, and compressors—using control boards and sequential switches.Â
- Monitors meters, gauges, and computer systems at established intervals to regulate power flow, adjust water levels, and detect potential operating problems.Â
- Performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs, such as cleaning, lubricating equipment, and tightening leaking joints, to prevent system failure or deterioration.Â
- Documents plant operations by maintaining accurate logs, completing forms, writing equipment malfunction reports, and handling emergency outage communication.Â
- Leads team operations by assigning daily work to maximize plant efficiency, assisting with shift scheduling, and training team members on equipment monitoring and maintenance.Â
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on cross-functional teams, participates in informational meetings and workshops, and assists with special projects as assigned.Â

Qualifications
What minimum requirements you’ll needÂ
Must have one or more of the following:Â
- High School Diploma or equivalentÂ
- Relevant license Â
- Graduate of trade schoolÂ
Â
And one or more of the following:Â
- 5 years of relevant experienceÂ
- Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experienceÂ
