As a Procurement Specialist supporting parts and material supplies for our Austin semiconductor wafer manufacturing facility, you will help ensure a reliable supply needed for daily factory operations. In this role, you will assist with sourcing activities, supplier coordination, and basic data analysis to support cost management and continuity of supply. You will also contribute to process improvements and help maintain productive supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitor potential supply disruptions and support the development of solutions to minimize operational impact.
• Assist in executing sourcing activities for goods and services within assigned categories.
• Review spend data and market information to help develop recommendations for procurement actions.
• Support negotiations during sourcing events.
• Track supplier performance using defined metrics and help facilitate improvement or corrective action efforts.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a procurement, supply chain, or purchasing role; experience in a manufacturing or technology environment is a plus.
• Basic understanding of sourcing principles and supplier management.
• Comfort working with data to support decision-making.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite or other ERP systems is beneficial.
• Strong communication and customer service skills for effective supplier interactions.
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently on assigned tasks, and collaborate with technical teams.
• Familiarity with quality or process tools (such as FMEA, 8D, or audits) is helpful but not required.

This position is a hybrid role based in Austin, Texas.
