Production Operator - Cast Layout

Job Summary:

The employee will be responsible for visually inspecting cast ring for conformance to job order and quality standards.

Essential Job Functions:

The employee will be responsible for the following duties:

• Visually inspect cast rings against job order for correct date, degree, name, school spellout, shank detail, trademark and monogram.
• Inspect for quality of metal fillout
• Maintains ring tally and notes of Issues and feed back to wax for inspection of molds
• keeping and identification codes regarding disposition of each wax pattern reject
• Operate as400 and movement of orders.

Job Specifications:

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

Employee should be able to read a limited number of two or three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.

• Ability to speak and write simple sentences.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.
• Ability to multitask
• Must have working knowledge of QC inspection operation.

Education/Experience:

· High School or GED
