Come grow with us!   Job Summary Production team leaders are responsible for leading and overseeing the efforts of a production team, as well as ensuring that manufacturing of items in a plant are carried out efficiently and with strict adherence to quality standards   Responsibilities & Duties Work to ensure people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements Takes initiative to continually improve performance and work process through feedback, problem solving and generating new ideas Ensure all in-process records are completed in a timely manner, such as daily check lists, etc. Escalates any quality concerns and segregates any non-conforming materials Ensure the team members are aware of day-to-day production targets and goals Completes line set-up each morning prior to the teams arrival Manage work order closures and control transactions to ensure yield calculations, traceability, and accuracy Monitor change over and/or line set up efficiency Packaging quality - verifies weights, best by dates, country of origin and container labels are within specification prior to start of each production run Must always understand and follow safety/food safety (SQF) / Good Manufacturing practices (GMP) standards Responsible for training of operators for products and processes within the local team Responsible for daily management and support for the team to achieve operational success Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them   Benefits Complete insurance package that includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance.
