Here's The Role

LCRA's Telecom Project Management Office (PMO) is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects building Texas's critical telecom infrastructure. How You’ll Contribute

  • Encourage collaboration among project teams and represent Telecom PMO positively and with professionalism.
  • Manage projects including project scope, schedule, and budget. Ensure that projects are controlled within the requirements of the Project Management Governance Document, and all LCRA Board and Financial Policies.
  • Minimize project exposure to risks by identifying and managing project risks. Build, implement, and track mitigation and contingency strategies.
  • Act as primary contact for project stakeholders. Keep collaborators informed of progress against the agreed-upon scope, schedule, and budget. Document action items and bring them to resolution.
  • Actively supports departmental continuous improvement initiatives to positively impact efficiency.
  • Travel independently or with a small team to project sites as needed.

How You’re Qualified

  • Nine or more years of experience in project controls, project management or work package management, including two or more years managing projects (including managing scope, schedule and budget) or other relevant experience.
  • A degree(s) in project management, business, finance, economics, engineering, construction management, math, science, computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
  • Driver's license

How You’ll Stand Out

  • Experience in Primavera P6 for managing project schedules.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
