How you'll make an impact in this role

• Specialty Leadership: Direct daily operations, work-flows, and clinical staff across high-acuity specialty departments.

• Operational Oversight: Manage patient access and evaluate unit work-flows to ensure seamless care delivery.

• Competency-Based Delegation: Assign duties aligned with staff skill levels while continuously monitoring clinical proficiency.

• Quality Architecture: Lead performance improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and policy updates alongside leadership.

• Talent Management: Drive full lifecycle staff development, including recruitment, onboarding, evaluations, and mentoring.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Advanced Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. AmericanHeart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
