Key Responsibilities:

You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your role requires a commitment to quality, strong technical skills, and the ability to communicate solutions effectively to our customers.


Service Excellence:  Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems with accuracy and efficiency.

Customer Focus: Build lasting relationships with customers by providing professional, friendly, and transparent service. Educate customers on solutions to improve their comfort and system performance.

Technical Proficiency: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC technologies and best practices. Stay informed about high-end and energy-efficient systems to support our premium customer base.

Sales and Recommendations: Identify opportunities for system upgrades, maintenance plans, and accessories that enhance the customer experience and system performance. Assist with lead sales to drive value for the customer and the company.

Professionalism: Represent the company with a polished appearance, courteous demeanor, and strong work ethic. Respect customer property and leave work areas clean and orderly.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the service department and management to achieve team goals and exceed customer expectations.

Community Involvement: Participate in community events and initiatives as part of our commitment to giving back to the Austin area.

 

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 3 years of HVAC service experience (preferred).

Certification: EPA certification required; NATE certification is a plus.

Skills: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication, and customer service skills.

Physical Demands: Ability to work in varying environments and lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated, with a commitment to excellence.

Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with service management software (ServiceTitan preferably), mobile devices, and diagnostic tools.


Compensation:

Performance-based pay structure:

  • 18% on Ticket Revenue 
  • $25 for each maintenance task completed.  Additional services sold during maintenance earn the same 18% on additional revenue.
  • $100 per sold hour for Warranty jobs.
  • 3% commission on system sales from your leads.
  • A monthly bonus pool paid to the top 5 performers based on ranked performance across key metrics.
