JLL - Senior Facilities Manager (M2)

Estimated base salary range: 114,000 - 122,000
What this job involves:
The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for leading integrated facilities management services for assigned owned and/or occupied sites within the account portfolio. The role owns client, line-of-business, and third-party relationships; ensures safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations; and delivers a high-quality customer experience in accordance with the contract, Master Service Agreement, and client standards.
The position may lead facilities management support staff and provide matrix leadership to Building Engineers and other assigned resources. It partners closely with the client, account leadership, engineering, sourcing, sustainability, and service providers to achieve operational, financial, and service objectives.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with client representatives, internal stakeholders, and third-party service providers; communicate needs, risks, and escalations promptly.
- Partner with clients and account teams to implement best practices, service enhancements, and cost-saving initiatives that improve satisfaction and outcomes.
- Represent the facilities management function with professionalism and responsiveness, including support for senior executive and corporate event needs.
Compliance and Governance
- Deliver facilities services in accordance with account processes, company policies, the Master Service Agreement, and client standards.
- Ensure compliance with portfolio initiatives and applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations, audit requirements, and operating procedures.
- Support facility inspections and corrective actions to maintain service quality, regulatory compliance, and asset integrity.
Operations and Vendor Management
- Lead day-to-day services for assigned owned and leased facilities, land, and critical environments, including coordination of hard and soft service providers.
- Manage the intake, dispatch, scheduling, tracking, and closeout of work requests; ensure timely vendor, landlord, and client follow-up.
- Oversee third-party maintenance activities, work-order completion, subcontractor invoice review, and vendor performance against contractual commitments, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Partner with sourcing and sustainability teams to strengthen vendor performance and advance sustainability goals.
- Support engineering teams in completing preventive maintenance, asset-management activities, and CEM processes; conduct or support root-cause analyses for service failures.
Financial and Performance Management
- Prepare, manage, and forecast operating and capital budgets aligned with client goals; monitor variances and support timely recovery of costs, fees, and reimbursements as applicable.
- Monitor dashboards, service workflows, SLAs, KPIs, and customer-satisfaction results; recommend and execute continuous service-quality improvements.
- Lead tactical planning, stakeholder meetings, recurring reporting, and execution of routine work, small projects, and other service requests.
- Support the Account IFM Director and Regional Facility Manager in annual planning and delivery of short- and long-term initiatives.
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop direct reports and assigned support staff to achieve performance objectives and build leadership capability.
- Manage staffing, succession, career development, performance conversations, and compensation-planning input for direct reports.
- Provide clear direction and accountability to matrixed engineering and facilities resources in support of client and account priorities.
Additional Expectations
- Work irregular hours, weekends, and travel for site visits, including occasional overnight travel, when business needs require.
- Perform other duties, activities, and projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least five years of recent facilities-management experience, with management and technical responsibility for corporate headquarters, commercial buildings, owned properties, or land.
- Strong leadership, relationship-building, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated commitment to internal and external customer service.
- Knowledge of facilities operations, standard business and accounting practices, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management.
- Working knowledge of critical-facility systems and equipment, including generators, UPS, ATS, cooling towers, fire pumps, and related infrastructure.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, interpret performance data, and translate client needs into practical operating plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree and CFM, FMP, or PMP certification are preferred.
- Experience supporting high-profile corporate environments, executive stakeholders, and critical facilities is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Corrigo or similar computerized maintenance management systems is a plus.
