This role ensures the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in the operating room. Responsibilities include managing staff schedules, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, coordinating with surgeons and other departments, and optimizing resource utilization. The OR Manager also leads initiatives to improve workflow, patient outcomes, and staff performance, while fostering a culture of safety and excellence. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with Surgical Technologist (ST) background. Bachelor’s degree (BSN) is required. Advanced degrees such as MSN, MBA, or MHA are advantageous for leadership roles. Preferred certifications: CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) CSSM (Certified Surgical Services Manager) CORM (Certified Operating Room Manager) Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience in surgical services. At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role within perioperative services. BLS/ACLS required.
