As an Intern, you will work in a team environment and have exposure to transportation projects which may include highway and bridges and infrastructure, traffic planning and analysis, and development. This hands-on experience will equip you with practical skills, build your network, and provide opportunities that set you up for success.Ā Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students who are taking or have taken civil engineering, structural or transportation related courses. This is a terrific opportunity for a college student to support a number of exciting local and national projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of civil and structural engineering projects
- Responsibilities include computer aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple structural calculations, and field inspection
Pay Transparency:Ā In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.Ā Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
