ARE YOU OUR IDEAL VET TECHNICIAN?

We'd prefer a candidate with at least one year of surgical assisting experience, but we will train the right person! Experience taking X-rays, performing dental prophylaxis, or using Shepherd software would be a bonus. Here's what we really need from you:

• Veterinary Assisting experience
• Possesses a thorough understanding of patient care
• Expertise in conducting detailed history-taking for exams
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, medication, and diagnostics
• Effectively communicates the full benefits of recommended dental services
• Adept at educating clients on the importance of vaccines and the use of heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives
• Strong communication, time management, detail-oriented, and customer service skills
• Team player

You work 36 - 40 hours per week, with no weekends! Our clinic is open:

• Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm

As our Vet Technician at Bee Cave Veterinary Clinic, every day brings new challenges and rewarding moments. You'll work alongside our dedicated team, assisting with surgical procedures, preparing patients for treatment, and ensuring animals receive top-notch medical care. From placing IVs and catheters to performing venipuncture and taking X-rays, your skills will be put to great use. You'll also help keep our clinic running smoothly by answering phones, scheduling appointments, maintaining health records, and educating pet owners on preventative care. When needed, you'll clean enclosures, feed animals, and take them for walks, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Whether you're in the exam room or at the front desk, your compassion and expertise make a real difference every day!
