WeScale Media is the in-house content engine behind WeScale, the company teaching everyday entrepreneurs how to build real, branded Print-on-Demand businesses on Shopify.

Our mission is to become the most-watched, most-trusted brand in the Print-on-Demand and online business space.

We produce high-performance long-form video, short-form social, and podcast content that reaches people deciding whether to bet on themselves. Our content is not vanity media. It is designed to drive measurable reach, deepen trust, and create downstream business impact across the entire WeScale ecosystem.

We operate like a studio, not a startup content team. That means structured workflows, batch production, clear performance metrics, and an aggressive commitment to innovation, especially through AI-native production systems.

We are building a repeatable content machine that compounds: more output, higher quality, faster iteration, stronger monetization, and deeper brand equity over time.

If you are joining WeScale Media, you are not here to just make content. You are here to help build a media powerhouse.

The Role

The Videographer / Producer is the capture engine behind WeScale Media. You own shoot days for both WeScale founders, run the capture calendar, and deliver clean footage to the editors who turn it into published content.

This role owns:

  • Every shoot day for both WeScale founders, from setup to wrap

  • The studio, lighting, audio, and camera systems that protect our visual quality bar

  • The capture calendar and production scheduling across two talent and two personal brands running in parallel

  • Clean, organized footage handoff so editors are never blocked

You are not just pressing record.

You are the person who makes sure we never run out of great footage to publish.

WeScale runs two talent and two personal brands at the same time, so scheduling demands and capture volume are high. This role requires both executional speed and production discipline. High volume is the baseline. High quality is non-negotiable.

What You'll Own

Shoot Days & Capture

  • Run every shoot day for both founders, from call time to wrap

  • Capture run-and-gun in the field and controlled studio sessions with equal confidence

  • Shoot clean talking-head footage that holds up at full prestige quality

  • Capture b-roll that gives editors the coverage they need to build any story

  • Run multi-cam setups when the format calls for it

Studio, Lighting, Audio & Gear

  • Own the studio setup so it is shoot-ready every time talent walks in

  • Light every scene to a consistent, prestige-level standard across both brands

  • Own sound. Clean audio is not optional and never fixed in post

  • Run and maintain the camera systems, lenses, and supporting gear

  • Keep all equipment maintained, charged, organized, and ready to roll

Production Scheduling & Capture Calendar

  • Own the capture calendar and batch shoots to maximize output per studio day

  • Coordinate two founders' calendars so capture never stalls

  • Plan shot lists and shoot blocks before talent arrives so no time is wasted

  • Forecast capture needs against the content pipeline so we stay ahead of demand

Footage Management & Editor Handoff

  • Deliver footage organized, tagged, and clearly labeled after every shoot

  • Maintain a clean file structure and version control editors can trust

  • Hand off coverage so editors are never blocked waiting on footage

  • Protect a searchable, reliable footage library that compounds over time

On-Camera Direction & Quality

  • Direct talent on camera to get the best possible takes

  • Read the room and adjust pacing, energy, and framing in real time

  • Protect the visual quality bar on every shoot, no exceptions

  • Catch problems on set, not in the edit. Good enough is not the standard

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years as a videographer, DP, or producer in content, media, or agency environments

  • A strong portfolio that shows the quality and range of work you capture

  • Mastery of lighting, audio, and camera systems

  • Experience shooting talking-head and b-roll for YouTube and social

  • Comfortable in both run-and-gun field shoots and controlled studio production

  • Highly organized. You manage gear, files, and calendars without dropping a thing

  • Able to direct talent on camera and get the best out of them

  • An AI-forward operator who uses AI where it speeds production without hurting quality

  • Austin-based or willing to relocate, since both founders shoot in person

  • Bonus: experience with e-commerce, creator, or education content

What Success Looks Like

  • Every shoot is captured at spec and on schedule

  • Editors are never blocked waiting on footage

  • Visual quality is consistent and prestige-level across both brands

  • Batch shoots are efficient and maximize output per studio day

  • The studio and gear operation is reliable and well maintained

Our Values

Our core values are the heart and soul of this company. The right person for this role will appreciate each of these values, personally subscribe to them, and understand why each is critical to building a great business.

Own the Outcome: Take full responsibility for the result, not just the task. You do not wait for permission or hand off problems. You own the goal end to end and make it happen.

Set the Standard: Be the bar everyone else measures against. Good enough is not the standard. You raise the quality of everything you touch and everyone around you.

Radical Candor: Have the courage to say the hard truth and the humility to hear it. Nothing great gets built without honest feedback, given directly and received openly.

Fiduciary Mindset: Act as though you are legally obligated to do what is best for the customer. Every decision serves the people who trust us with their business.
