JOB SUMMARY

The position ensures that all company assets are cleaned and properly maintained.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment when and where required.
  2. Wash company owned rolling stock, equipment, facilities, parking lots, etc.
  3. Document all wash operations and track time in accordance with company procedures.
  4. Report immediately any leaks or damage to the service desk.
  5. Comply with company safety policies.
  6. Properly maintain potable wash equipment.
  7. Ensure the wash bay and wash bay office areas are kept clean and functional.
  8. Operate forklifts, roll-off trucks and other equipment as required.
  9. Clean aluminum trailers using the appropriate procedures.
  10. Empty trash receptacles in and around operations and maintenance facility daily or as required.
  11. Perform washing duties of exterior and interior of company assets as required.
  12. Clean the fuel island and parking areas daily and clean any environmental spills on- and off-site as needed.
  13. Maintain all departmental equipment pressure washers and trailers in accordance with OEM requirements.
  14. Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked.
  15. Assist cart delivery personnel in loading and unloading of carts
  16. Assemble containers as required.
  17. Maintain a clean, serviceable inventory of carts.
  18. Conduct daily and monthly inventories as required.
  19. Attend safety meetings.
  20. Report immediately any safety violations and correcting unsafe acts or conditions.
  21. Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of wash equipment i.e. pressure washers, pump equipment;
  • Must understand operational theory and practices of assigned equipment;
  • Must be forklift certified or able to be certified by the company.
  • Must have excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to read Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).


PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.


REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Valid Class C driver’s license
  • Safe driving for the last three years
  • Forklift certified by company.
