This role is responsible for assisting guests in selecting wines, processing purchases, and providing attentive service to create a welcoming and memorable experience. Greet all guests promptly with a warm and welcoming demeanor and serve as the primary host for the Aperi experience. Assist guests in selecting wines by offering knowledgeable recommendations and guiding them toward bottles that suit their preferences. Process guest purchases through the point-of-sale system and ensure all transactions are handled accurately. Open and present wine bottles to guests and provide the appropriate number of glasses for the group. Offer and sell food items including charcuterie and other Aperi menu offerings. Maintain the presentation and organization of the Aperi service area, ensuring wine displays, glassware, and service stations remain clean and well stocked. Communicate with Banquet and hotel leadership regarding guest needs, inventory concerns, or operational issues. Thank guests as they depart and ensure they leave with a positive and memorable experience. Perform other duties as requested by leadership.
