Job Description:

  As leader of theĀ globalĀ Business ContinuityĀ and Disaster RecoveryĀ team, you will develop the next evolution ofĀ Dimensional’sĀ Business Continuity Program, includingĀ reviewing andĀ restructuringĀ business continuityĀ plans and exercise schedules, developing self-service capabilities for business stakeholders, andĀ providing guidance toĀ our executive Crisis Management Team. TheĀ Business Continuity and Disaster RecoveryĀ ManagerĀ will provide thought leadership and practical solutions toĀ increaseĀ resilienceĀ andĀ enableĀ continuity andĀ recoveryĀ of service for our internal clients.

What you might work on:  

  • Assess, evolve, lead, and transformĀ Dimensional’sĀ Business Continuity Program toĀ leverageĀ enterprise capabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Ā 

  • Develop andĀ maintainĀ Business Continuity Plans through engagement and collaboration with business and technical leadership.Ā 

  • Lead a team with directĀ business continuityĀ responsibilities,Ā andĀ maintain accountabilityĀ for monitoring effectivenessĀ of technicalĀ resiliencyĀ activities.Ā Ā 

  • Drive program adoption and implementation through process development, advocacy, example, and training.Ā

  • Ensure alignment between theĀ business continuity and disaster recovery programsĀ andĀ validateĀ people, process, and technologyĀ resourcesĀ requiredĀ forĀ resiliencyĀ in the event ofĀ a recovery situation.Ā 

  • Evaluate business requirements with technical stakeholders to informĀ the design ofĀ andĀ monitorĀ the effectiveness ofĀ architecture supporting continuity and recoveryĀ objectives.Ā 

  • Maintain awareness of and assess gaps in practice against developments in global business continuity andĀ disaster recoveryĀ standards, regulations, and best practices.Ā Ā 

  • Foster and leverage relationships with leadership toĀ achieveĀ Ā intendedĀ outcomes and ensure alignment.Ā 

  • Interface with business continuity partners toĀ ensureĀ alignment betweenĀ Business Continuity Plans andĀ business process and resiliency architectures.Ā 

  • Strategize, develop, lead, and execute tabletop exercises acrossĀ Dimensional’sĀ business and technology areas focused on educating all levels of stakeholders and maturing preparedness of our continuity and resiliency posture.  

  • Design a ā€œcontinuous testingā€Ā methodologyĀ and a governance model to test/audit/refine our posture.  

  • Ensure DR stress tests exist toĀ validateĀ thatĀ BC requirements are well understood and have been met, includingĀ coordination, planning, and execution ofĀ large-scaleĀ DR exercises.Ā 

  • Conduct Business Impact Analyses toĀ identifyĀ potential risks and evaluate business impacts.Ā 

  • Design integrations with incident response and disaster recovery functions and processes.  

  • Prepare,Ā maintain, and represent the organization in external communications and documentation on all BC, DR, and other resiliency related topics.Ā 

  • Coordinate departmentalĀ responses and internal stakeholder communications during continuity events.Ā 

  • Report to boards, executives, and key stakeholders on our state of continuity, including strengths, risks, and areas of opportunity.

Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.  

  • 5+ years’ experience in managing enterprise business continuity functions  

  • ProvenĀ track recordĀ of implementing and managing BCPs, BIAs, and other continuity deliverables to measurably improve the continuity stance of an organization.Ā 

  • Experience conducting large-scale continuity exercises.  

  • Deep understanding of technology infrastructure and its role in enabling business operations.Ā 

  • Experience interfacing and communicating with executives in the capacity of continuity responsibilities.Ā 

  • Experience leading enterprise-scale projects.Ā 

  

Preferred Competencies:  

  • Certifications in one of the following preferred: ABCP, CBCP, CBCPI, CISSP, GCIH, ITIL, or BCI  

  • Experience with BC/DR planning software andĀ notification systems.  

  • Experience in incident management and reporting.Ā 

  • Understanding ofĀ security & infrastructure standards and regulationsĀ is a plus.Ā 

  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly familiarity with relevant regulatory requirementsĀ
