Production Room Technician
About the role
Are you passionate about building high‑quality network systems and ensuring production excellence? In this role, you’ll support the assembly and production of RF, IPTV, and data networks, ensuring that every system meets our standards for quality, cost‑efficiency, and timeliness. We’re looking for a Production Room Technician who will help maintain an organized, safe, and efficient production environment while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Based in our Austin office, you’ll play a key role in delivering reliable network infrastructure that supports our customers and operational teams.
What you’ll be doing
As part of the production team, you’ll be central to successful planning, assembly, testing, and delivery of our network systems. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will help ensure smooth workflows, safe operations, and consistent results. It’s a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you’ll mainly be involved with:
- Planning and executing production of network components and systems while maintaining efficient workflows in the production room.
- Constructing and performing preliminary configuration of core cabinets.
- Identifying and proposing efficiency improvements in the construction of network systems.
- Communicating with the Production Room Manager regarding schedules and production needs while maintaining a customer‑service mentality.
- Maintaining daily safety, organization, and cleanliness of the Production Room.
- Documenting structured build/test/ship processes and tracking success using KPIs defined with the Production Room Manager.
- Assisting the project operations team when assigned by your manager.
What you’ll bring

- Experience with commercial‑grade networking equipment.
- Experience with fiber and copper‑based network technologies.
- Experience with CATV components (such as RG6 cable, amplifiers, RF meters).
- Understanding of electrical, analog, digital, electronic, switching, and routing concepts.
- Certifications such as Net+, A+, or CCENT.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office 365.
Notes about this role:
- The role may require flexible and extended hours to meet production deadlines.
- Travel may be required to support installations.
- Physical activity is a routine part of the job, including typing, using power tools, standing, walking, reaching, navigating job sites, and occasionally climbing or crouching around obstacles.
- You must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
