Position Summary

We're seeking a professional with inventory, shipping and receiving knowledge that can support the manufacturing and maintenance operations at our Austin site. This role ensures inventory accuracy, parts availability, and timely issue of raw material parts. The position works closely with the EQP Materials Management Leader, equipment teams, and warehouse operations to support operational KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, discrepancy investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

  • Utilize ERP and other Samsung inventory management systems to track spare parts inventory, movements, consumption, and adjustments.

  • Monitor inventory levels against target min/max and days-of-supply requirements; identify shortages, excess inventory, and slow-moving or obsolete parts.

  • Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities within spare parts inventory control and warehouse workflows.

  •  Support and execute continuous improvement and lean initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, reduce excess inventory, and streamline material flow.
