Position Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for efficiently preparing and serving beverages in a courteous and
professional manner.
Core Responsibilities:
ï‚· Must be completely familiar with all the different kinds of liquor, recipes and prices of
drinks, proper glassware used for each recipe, as well as garnishes needed.
ï‚· Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, maintaining
positive guest relations at all times.
ï‚· Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction in each interaction.
ï‚· Efficiently maintain bar supplies, including preparation of daily requisition, as necessary.
ï‚· Know drink recipes, prices and type of beverages available.
ï‚· Follow guidelines established in regard to age identification for suspected minors.
Courteously, but efficiently, check identification where appropriate.
ï‚· Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures to include proper discounting,
MICROS system (or registers), bank procedures and tip policies. Responsible for
accurately charging the guests for drinks. Responsible for accurate intake of all the
monies.
ï‚· Promote and upsell liquor and food.
ï‚· Efficiently enforce the red line system with no exceptions.
ï‚· Follow alcohol awareness guidelines.
ï‚· Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2
years thereafter.
ï‚· Observe proper sanitation and cleanliness procedures.
ï‚· Efficiently complete all sidework pre/post shift.
ï‚· Never leave liquor unattended during the assigned shift.
ï‚· Work in a cooperative and friendly manner with fellow associates.
ï‚· Practice a culture of guest service in all you do; promote courtesy, good will and a
positive attitude in each and every encounter.
ï‚· Perform any reasonable request as assigned or directed by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
ï‚· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with guests
and associates.
ï‚· High work ethic and self-initiative
ï‚· Ability to work in high pressure situation
ï‚· Experience in problem solving and guest resolution
ï‚· Regular attendance according to established guidelines
ï‚· May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the proper

Qualifications
  • Physical Requirements (In-Office Role)
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. (6-8 hours a day)
  • Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
  • Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
  • Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
  • Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
  • Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset
