Job Summary: 

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional service to guests. This role ensures a clean, organized bar area and complies with all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and take drink orders efficiently.
Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools, and glassware.
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service in compliance with laws and company policy.
Manage cash, process payments, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
Restock bar inventory, garnishes, and supplies throughout the shift.
Engage with guests to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and inventory tasks.
Work collaboratively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior bartending experience preferred, especially in a fast-paced environment.
State-required alcohol certification or permit (if applicable).

Key Competencies

Strong mixology skills and knowledge of drink recipes.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication.
Ability to handle pressure and multitask in busy settings.
Basic math and cash-handling accuracy.
Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented.
