General Dentist – Taylor, TX | 2–3 Days/Week Growing to Full-Time

Suburban Austin | Established Patient Base | 30% Collections | Long-Term Growth Opportunity

Looking for a General Dentist opportunity where you can start part-time, build your patient base, and grow into a full-time role?

Our established, PPO/FFS dental practice in Taylor, Texas — just northeast of Austin — is seeking a clinically driven, relationship-oriented General Dentist to join the practice 2–3 days per week initially, with the expectation of growing to a full-time schedule within approximately 12 months.

This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor who wants to become part of a growing community, develop a strong patient following, and potentially become a long-term clinical leader within the practice.

Why Taylor, Texas?

Taylor combines the accessibility of the Austin metro with the character and affordability of a growing Texas community.

Located approximately 35 minutes northeast of Austin, Taylor and the surrounding Williamson County area continue to experience significant residential and economic growth, including investment from major employers such as Samsung and the expanding Central Texas technology corridor.

For a dentist interested in establishing long-term roots, Taylor offers an opportunity to practice in a community where demand is growing alongside the population.

An Established Practice Entering Its Next Chapter

This practice has served the Taylor community for more than 40 years and recently transitioned to group ownership.

The founding dentist remains with the practice full-time as an Associate, providing continuity for longtime patients while the office enters its next phase of growth.

The practice is large, well located, and offers significant opportunity for continued modernization and expansion. Ownership is evaluating future renovations and technology investments as the patient base and clinical team continue to grow.

We are looking for a dentist who wants to be part of that evolution.

Practice Snapshot

  • 8 operatories
  • CBCT on-site
  • Established patient base
  • Founding dentist remains full-time
  • 2 Dental Assistants
  • 2 Front Office team members, including an experienced Office Lead
  • Recruiting a permanent Full-Time Hygienist
  • Currently supported by a full-time temporary Hygienist
  • 100% PPO / FFS
  • No Medicaid
  • Administrative and operational support from an established dental group

āš™ļø Clinical Opportunity

We are seeking a confident General Dentist who is comfortable providing high-quality bread-and-butter dentistry while helping expand the clinical capabilities of the practice.

There is particular opportunity to grow:

  • Restorative dentistry
  • Crown and bridge
  • Oral surgery
  • Implant dentistry
  • Comprehensive treatment planning
  • Additional procedures based on the incoming doctor's experience and interests

You'll have clinical autonomy while benefiting from the resources and support of a larger group.

Start Part-Time. Grow With the Practice.

The incoming dentist will initially work:

2–3 days per week

The goal is to steadily expand the doctor's schedule as patient demand, hygiene capacity, and the practice continue to grow.

We anticipate this becoming a full-time opportunity within approximately one year.

This structure can be particularly attractive for a dentist who wants to enter the Austin-area market gradually, supplement an existing schedule, or find the right long-term practice without immediately committing to five days per week.

Compensation

  • 30% of Collections
  • No lab fees deducted
  • No supply fees deducted
  • W-2 employment
  • 2–3 days per week initially
  • Opportunity to grow into a full-time schedule within approximately 12 months
  • Full administrative and operational support

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Start 2–3 days per week and grow toward full-time
  • Established practice with more than 40 years of history
  • Existing patient base — not a startup
  • Growing Austin-area community
  • PPO/FFS patient mix
  • CBCT and 8 operatories
  • Experienced founding dentist remains with the practice
  • Opportunity to expand implant and comprehensive dentistry
  • Potential to become a long-term clinical leader
  • Future modernization and investment planned as the practice grows
  • Supportive group ownership with resources behind the practice

Build Something Long-Term

We're not simply looking for someone to cover a few days each week.

We're looking for a dentist who sees the long-term opportunity in Taylor, the continued growth of the Austin metro, and an established practice entering its next chapter.

Start with 2–3 productive days per week, build relationships with the existing patient base, and grow alongside the practice toward a full-time role over the coming year.
