Here's The Role

LCRA is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed, and energetic individual to join our team that manages Transmission Line and Substation construction portfolio! Do you enjoy traveling and being outdoors? This job will provide you with the opportunity to go across Texas to various construction sites to review our T-line and substation projects and monitor contractors' performance. How You’ll Contribute

  • Create the Statement of Work for construction services.
  • Lead and coordinate with LCRA departmental stakeholders.
  • Schedule and lead construction status meetings with the project team.
  • Interact with the public and landowner on project issues.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, bid documents and engineering specifications.
  • Conduct critical thinking to identify risks and develop solutions.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

How You’re Qualified

  • Twelve or more years of experience in construction management relating to the area of construction specialization required to perform the job, including four or more years leadership or other relevant contractor management experience.
  • A degree(s) in construction, engineering, project management or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
  • Driver's license
