DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Service & Front-End Support
  • Assist the Service Operations Manager with assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Champion corporate and division customer service programs to meet or exceed division goals.
  • Serve as a cashier when needed.
  • Understand all aspects of the customer service center and provide required services to customers.
  • Answer and respond to incoming calls appropriately.
  • Perform all job duties with honesty, integrity, and adherence to Company policies and procedures.
Front-End Operations & Store Appearance
  • Assist in directing and supervising front‑end operations, including:
    • customer traffic flow
    • lane coverage
    • cleanliness and appearance of the front‑end sales floor
    • restrooms, front entryway, and parking lot
  • Maintain the fresh, full appearance of checkstand merchandisers.
  • Ensure checkstands remain clean and properly signed.
  • Ensure the accurate operation and function of the Point‑of‑Sale (POS) system.
Policy Compliance & Standards
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures such as:
    • Cash Handling
    • Employee Purchase
    • Restricted Product Sale (alcohol, tobacco, etc.)
    • Coupon and Gift Card policies
    • Scan accuracy
    • Supervising minor employees
    • Product Return Policy
    • WIC
    • Safety, sanitation, security
    • Grooming and dress code standards
    • Check acceptance
  • Report any policy violations to store management.
Cash Controls & Financial Procedures
  • Assist with accountability for cash flow requirements including:
    • safe transactions
    • cash issues and pickups
    • tills
    • check acceptance and refunds
    • monitoring cashier cash handling procedures
  • Work with Scan/FMC Team to resolve scanning file issues promptly.
  • May perform duties such as:
    • Running totals on tills
    • Preparing and proofing daily deposit slips
    • Completing all front‑end forms
  • Report any issues to the Service Operations Manager for resolution.
Other Duties
  • Perform other necessary and required duties as assigned.

Pay Transparency:


Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay*, PTO/Vacation pay*, paid holidays*, bereavement pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility).  Associates in this position may be eligible for a quarterly bonus, subject to Company bonus plans. *For roles in Washington State: Sick pay and PTO/Vacation pay are accrued based on hours worked and paid holidays are issued at 7-9 days annually.
