Per Diem CRNA Needed at Central Austin, TX Specialty Hospital
Description
The Heart Hospital of Austin features 6 ORs, 1 EP lab & NORA cases, in a specialty adult 72 bed facility. Surgeons are exceptionally caring with great outcomes. Professional autonomy, within a team model in an award-winning hospital, is another aspect which makes our practice special. We have close & collaborative working relationships within our anesthesia team, with our surgeons, and with hospital staff. We work hard to provide excellent care of our high acuity patients. We are looking for clinically strong providers to augment our full time staff. This is also an opportunity for you to see why we may be right for you to join our-full time team!

Case Assignments
EP lab, endovascular, NORA (TEEs, Endo), and general surgery. No OB, peds, or neuro. TAVRs/MitraClips depending on experience.

Shifts

Requirements
Responsibilities
Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
Current license as a registered professional nurse
Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
