About the Role
As a Modular Installation Specialist at Z-Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in assisting with the installation, assembly, and repair of modular structures across the U.S. This position supports safe, high-quality project execution by helping ensure installations meet specifications, schedules, and site requirements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on construction work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable traveling extensively.
What You’ll Do
Assist with modular installation, assembly, and repairs at construction sites to meet specifications and deadlines.
Operate and maintain tools and equipment to support safe and efficient jobsite execution.
Identify and troubleshoot basic installation issues to minimize delays and maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and workmanship expectations.
Follow blueprints, detailed instructions, and safety protocols to complete installations accurately and safely.
Communicate progress, material needs, and jobsite issues to supervisors to support smooth workflow.
Travel extensively and work overtime, including weekends and holidays, to support project needs.
Who You Are
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Hands-on experience in a construction setting.
Carpentry skills and familiarity with hand and power tools.
Knowledge of modular construction and blueprint reading preferred.
Strong attention to detail with problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to safety and adherence to worksite protocols.
Physical Abilities
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Ability to work at heights and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work at active construction sites in varying weather conditions, noise, and dust.
Ability to work around machinery and production processes as needed.
Ability to wear required PPE such as hard hats, gloves, and safety glasses.

Below is the expected base hourly range for this position. This is a good-faith estimate, and offers will be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and interview performance.
Base Hourly Range: [$18.00–$25.00 USD]
