Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Standing Forklift Driver to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to safely move, load, unload, and organize products within the warehouse. You’ll play an essential role in supporting warehouse operations, maintaining accuracy in product movement, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a standing forklift to load, unload, move, and stack materials safely and efficiently.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Accurately move products to designated storage or staging areas.
Verify and maintain product accuracy for inventory and orders.
Load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, and shelves as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including trash removal and general upkeep.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid forklift operator certification required.
Proven experience operating standing forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
