PLUMBER JOB DESCRIPTION:
Plumbers will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing plumbing pipes and systems to ensure all building fixtures are operating correctly on commercial buildings.
PLUMBER JOB DUTES:
- Inspect plumbing and pipes
- Review blueprints and schematics-Journeyman level plumbers should be efficient
- Follow local and state plumbing codes
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings and fixtures using mechanical solder, brazing and pipe joining methods
- Using hand, measuring and power tools common to the plumbing trade
- Ensure installed pipes and systems pass inspections
PLUMBER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have recent experience in commercial new construction plumbing and/or renovation
- Must have a current state-issued apprentice or journeyman plumbing license
- Must have hand tools required for plumbing
