Provides assistance to the Home Health Director and/or Associate Director, including all aspects of administrative support by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assembles and scans all admission paperwork into patient records.
  • Maintains inventory of home health forms.
  • Maintains Home Health phone roster.
  • Assist office with maintaining mailboxes, delivery of mail and copy machines
  • Creates physician cover sheets and faxes all orders, evaluations, POC's, selected care coordinator notes and summaries to physician and uploads documents in shared drive and patient records at minimum 2x/day.
  • Fax medication sheet and med interactions to MD and scans in record.
  • Generates weekly census/admission report
  • Manages Order Manager "to be sent" file in EMR system.
  • Log in all checks for accounting department and foundation.
  • Greeting all visitors and answering all incoming phone calls.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma and two years of office experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
