Job DetailsJob Location: 105 80th Street Beverage LLC - Avalon, NJ 08202Job Title Restaurant Security Classification Non-Exempt Salary Grade/Level/Family/Range Grade Reports to Food and Beverage Manager Job Description Summary/Objective The Restaurant Security is responsible for ensuring guests are safe when they are within the bar premises. Restaurant security will also enforce the NJ ABC regulations of the establishment. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Ensure guests are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages. Refuse to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age. Work at a stationary environment and/or circulate through the guests. Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential. All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed guests’ expectations. Performs other duties as directed. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in and around the premises and may be working in close proximity to team members. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Hazards may include, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping and tripping. This position operates in an outdoor and indoor setting. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching. The position may require occasional lifting of products weighing up to 75 pounds. This position may require employee to work outside in all inclement conditions. ServSafe & TIPS certified.
