Faculty Position-Mechanical Engineering

The Mechanical Engineering Program at Ave Maria University invites applications for a full-time, open rank, non-tenured faculty position to start in the 2027-2028 academic year. The position requires both research and teaching of Mechanical Engineering subject matters at the undergraduate level in the following areas:

- Machine Design and Material Sciences

- Thermal Sciences

Preference will be given to candidates with relevant industry and research experience having earned a doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for full consideration. The following documents must be submitted:

- Teaching Philosophy as it Relates to the Apostolic Constitution Ex Corde Ecclesiae

Review of applications will begin in the fall of 2026 and will continue until the position is filled. Rank and salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s credentials.
