What this job is all about:

The Network Administrator III is a senior-level technical position responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and security of the organization’s network infrastructure. This role serves as a subject matter expert across firewall and switching environments, wireless networking, email security, endpoint management, and web security. The Network Administrator III provides Tier II/III helpdesk support and collaborates with the Infrastructure Manager to ensure the reliability, availability, and security of all network-connected systems and services.

In this job, you’ll do things like:

Administer, secure, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, wireless systems, and web/email security platforms.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and respond to security threats to ensure reliable and secure operations.
Manage endpoint and server patching, system updates, and device configurations to maintain compliance and minimize vulnerabilities.
Provide Tier II/III technical support for network, hardware, software, and device-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of network and IT systems aligned with business needs.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, network diagrams, and asset inventories.
Lead or support IT projects, system upgrades, and hardware refresh initiatives across the organization.
Deploy and support end-user devices, peripherals, and mobile technologies, including participation in on-call support as needed.
