Job DetailsJob Location: ORAFOL Americas - Avon, CT - Avon, CT 06001Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $37,974.89 - $63,899.13 SalaryTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: Day ShiftJob Category: WarehouseJoin our esteemed team at ORAFOL Americas Inc., Reflective Solutions Division situated in Avon, Connecticut.  Our temperature-controlled manufacturing facility provides a clean and comfortable working environment.   Duties include the preparation of shipping documents and the preparation of goods for shipment, including seeing to proper packing and labeling. A portion of the work involves receipt of materials delivered to the plant, checking shipments and entering and receiving data into the computer system. Work includes local pickups and deliveries. One important aspect of the work is that the majority of outgoing shipments require close adherence to U.S., and a variety of foreign government, foreign shipment and trade regulations. Uses the BE system for processing inventory transactions and shipments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS May be required to operate and inspect Powered Industrial equipment. Check material in and out of the BE System. The majority of transactions are entered into the ERP system through a computer terminal. Deliver materials to work centers as required. Maintain inventory integrity. Prepare products for shipment and loads outgoing trucks. Transfer boxed goods weighing up to 75 lbs with assistance. Operate material handling equipment and assures that safety requirements are met. Move incoming shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas and maintains records of locations. Must attend and be trained in Hazardous Waste Training (RCRA) EPA 265.16. Perform other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Follow prescribed safety guidelines in accordance to ORAFOL Americas Safety program; use required PPE Maintains an optimal level of product quality and adheres to ORAFOLs Quality Program ORAFOL Reflective Solutions operates on a 24/5 schedule.  All full-time positions offer a competitive compensation, a fully vested 401K program with company match upon eligibility, health, dental, and vision insurance available on the first of the month following hire, generous Paid Time Off (PTO), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) reimbursements, company-sponsored disability, basic life, AD&D insurance, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Pay rate starts at $20 per hour commensurate with experience, + shift differential. Education Requirements:  High school degree required Work Experience: 1-3 years of related work experience  Aptitudes and Characteristics: Possesses good communication skills (written and verbal). Attention to detail. Teamwork skills Consciences decisions. Ability and willingness to learn/train/share knowledge. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, anything greater than 50lbs with assistance Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, pull, climb, and twist Possesses personal motivation, innovation, creativity, and demonstrates a clear sense of urgency. A genuine desire to actively participate in the "Team" through adaptability, flexibility, and versatility. Reliability and dependability as evidenced through attendance and ability to "get things done".
