What You’ll Do Welcome customers to the service department and create a positive first impression Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues Prepare repair orders and provide clear, transparent estimates Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines Act as the liaison between customers and certified technicians Keep customers updated on service progress and timelines Ensure timely completion of repairs and a smooth service experience Review completed work with customers and explain services performed Handle customer questions or concerns professionally and efficiently What We’re Looking For Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail Automotive knowledge or dealership experience preferred Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Sales and upselling skills with a focus on honesty and trust Proficiency with computers and service scheduling systems Saturday hours are Why Work at Bob Johnson 390 Chevrolet? Qualifications  High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in automotive service advising, service writing, or customer service preferred but not required Saturday availability required; schedule includes a weekday off to maintain work-life balance Valid driver’s license required
