What You’ll Do


As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in a Skilled Nursing Facility, you will help patients improve independence with daily living skills following illness, injury, or hospitalization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an OTR
  • Implement individualized care plans focused on ADLs and functional independence
  • Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on therapy programs
  • Assist with discharge planning and patient progress tracking

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active Ohio COTA license (or eligible)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for working with geriatric and rehab populations

Preferred Experience

  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), rehabilitation, or post-acute care      experience
  • Experience with EMR/EHR documentation systems
