Job DetailsLevel: ManagementJob Location: Goodyear Office - Goodyear, AZ 85338GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Owner and Executive Director, the Human Resources (HR) Coordinator is responsible for managing and performing office administration and support activities of the organization to support the achievement of the organization's mission, goals and objectives. The position is specifically responsible for planning, developing and implementing administrative services systems including office management and administration in support of employees and executive team members.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruit potential candidates and oversee the onboarding process Conduct new employee administrative orientation and training and implement all policies, procedures and guidelines as established through employee handbook; Ensure staff have signed appropriate documentation upon hire; Ensure employees have cleared DOJ background before start date Provide employee disciplinary actions, such as Course of Actions or Warnings Establish and maintain a working environment conducive to positive morale, individual style, creativity, and teamwork. Assist the Executive Director with confidential matters, including sensitive personnel issues while maintaining Federal and State FLSA and EOE regulations. Maintain active employee files (hard and virtual) per guidelines set forth by State governmental agencies; including obtaining documents that are expired; Prepare employee files for audits by area Regional Centers or Insurance entities; ensure that all files are in compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations. Assist with ensuring all payroll timesheets and timecards are returned in a timely manner and prepare documents for monthly in-service; Assist with Billing and Payroll as needed. Manage any EDD, Worker’s Comp, employee correspondence or any other related claims Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings. Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures. Accessibility to employees during business hours Complete various projects, as needed QualificationsKNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS: Ability to be creative, proactive and sensitive in solving consumer's problem and complex issues Must possess strong administrative and organizational skills; experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge of State laws and regulations: Workers Comp, EDD, Labor and other state agencies Valid CPR/First Aid certification Valid Class "C" Driver's License and Valid Auto Insurance EDUCATION: Associates in Human Resources or related field required Bachelors/Master’s degree preferred 3 years’ experience in the field of Human Resources
