The opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to manage the national customer relationships and drive strategic alignment between customer strategy and GWA’s objectives. This pivotal role has significant influence over customer engagement and strategic direction. You will be instrumental in shaping GWA’s market presence and ensuring collaborative success with key partners.

What you will do

You will develop and execute strategic joint business plans that deliver sustainable revenue, margin and market share growth while strengthening relationships with strategic key customers. You will be accountable for the delivery of the annual budget, accurate forecasting and demand planning. You will be required to drive customer development through strategic account plans, partnership growth, and have the ability to negotiate effective trading and pricing agreements.

You will lead category reviews, ensure adherence to trading terms, and partner with Marketing to launch products successfully. Regular reporting on sales to budget, market conditions and competitor activity, risk management, and strong internal collaboration across Sales segments are core to success.

What you will bring

You will also have:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in account management, sales or related fields, with proven success in stakeholder engagement and relationship building.

  • Experience leading and managing national customer accounts, including procurement and category managers.

  • Strength in translating customer‑facing presentations into executive‑level narratives for SLT and ELT.

  • Strong analytical capability, negotiation skill, financial and commercial acumen, and outstanding presentation skills.
