Bachelors Degree- Accounting
Minimum 3 years experience in cost accountant role (Manufacturing-Cosmetics preferred)
ERP System experience
Owns the quoting process for new and existing products
Tracks budget vs. actual, fluctuations in product costs, and inventory on-hand to assess customer billing and re-pricing requirements.
Experience researching material, labor and overhead costs for new or current projects
Inventory Reports, Purchasing reports
Detailed BOM cost reports
SKU Sales
Standard Cost Accounting
Last Cost Accounting experience
Experience in a cosmetics or personal care contract manufacturing firm in a cost accounting role
Understanding of key ratios and considerations in liquid and solid conversion units of measure (e.g., kilos, pounds, liters, ounces, etc.)
Deep understanding of inputs and outputs of materials in the liquid manufacturing and filling process
Creates quote spreadsheets with detailed inputs based on product formulas, component costs, and labor / overhead factors.
