Call Center Representative
Deliver Outstanding Service to Every Patient!
Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is looking for a customer-focused Call Center Representative to join our team. In this role, you will answer incoming calls, assess the urgency of the call, appropriately triags and direct urgent calls according to established procedures to ensure optimal quality patient care.Â
What You'll Do:
- Answers calls for Ancillary Services.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
- Assist with patient communications and MyChart support.
- Records messages for physicians and staff accurately and ensures that it is tasked appropriately through IHA EMR system.
- Obtains out of network authorizations.
- Answers patient, insurance and office calls related to referrals and prior authorizations.Â
General Requirements:
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED or between the ages of 15-17 with a valid work permit from their high school. Course work in insurance/billing, medical practice education or seminars are preferred, but not required.
- CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE:Â None
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:Â 1-2 years of experience in a medical or physician office or customer service environment preferred.
