Senior Technical Professional - Electrical

  • Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers and is consulted extensively by associates and others with a high degree of reliance placed on scientific interpretations and advice.
  • The Senior Technical Professional is part of the engineering design team and has a reporting line Electrical Discipline Manager. The responsibilities include ensuring that the discipline design is carried out in accordance with the stated objectives and that an appropriate level of inter-discipline co-ordination is maintained, through project meetings, document reviews, model reviews and coordination meetings to result in a fully coordinated final design.
  • Responsible for study, design, specification and services related to electrical and electronic systems including power generation, transmission and distribution, power systems performance and control, cabling and wiring, lighting, motor control centers, communications systems, cathodic protection, grounding lightning protection, heat tracing etc.
  • Under direct supervision, evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.
  • With additional experience within one functional area, assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents.
  • Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
  • Assignments are generally well defined with clearly specified objectives. Assignments usually include one or more of the following: design and development, testing of materials, preparation or checking of design calculations and specifications, studies, research investigations, report preparation, and other activities of limited scope.
  • Experience for delivering Cables and Bulks packages.
  • Experience on Heat Tracing Design and Engineering works
  • Minimum 8 + years' experience in Oil and Gas field.
  • Bachelor of Engineering, Electrical and Electronics
  • Master degree will be considered as advantage
  • Caspian Project experience
  • Package Management experience
  • 7 to 10 years brownfield mods, Pre FEED/FEED, offshore / subsea power
