Join a fast-paced production team building high-quality roof and floor trusses.   The Truss Assembly Worker is responsible for assembling and securing wood trusses using production equipment and hand tools while ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the process.   Key Responsibilities Align cut materials in truss jigs Place/remove metal plates and secure trusses Assemble, label, and bundle trusses Inspect for quality (plate placement & lumber grade) Adjust/correct plates as needed Operate roller presses and machinery   Requirements Truss assembly experience required Ability to read tape measure & production layouts Experience with hand tools  Able to lift 100+ lbs and work on your feet   Day Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Full-Time Mandatory Saturdays and overtime based on business needs. Exposure to inclement weather and loud noise, all work will be performed outside.   Personal Protective Equipment: Safety glasses and boots must be worn at all times. Auditory and fall protection applicable when required.   Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. It requires close vision, and depth perception three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, talk and hear.   Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, non-exempt salaried position, and typical work hours are based on assigned shift. Overtime will be required as needed to meet our customer needs.   Travel No travel is expected for this position.   Required Education and Experience High School graduate preferred but not required Rough carpentry experience is preferred but not required (Training Program Offered)
