About the Role:
Chagrin Valley Racquet Club in Chagrin Falls, OH is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our facility in top-notch condition. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in ensuring our members enjoy a clean, safe, and well-maintained club environment every day.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on club facilities, equipment, and systems
- Conduct repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building infrastructure
- Inspect courts, locker rooms, and common areas to identify and address maintenance needs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of mechanical rooms and storage areas
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are needed
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Prior experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related trade
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in various conditions
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
