Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Morgantown - Morgantown, WV 26501MidAtlantic Energy Services is hiring a Training & Orientation Coordinator to own the day-to-day delivery of our 5-day New Hire Orientation & Training Program. This role is the operational engine behind onboarding new field and office employees into the oil and gas industry — coordinating OSHA training, technical oil and gas curriculum, department head presentations, and the broader nine-part training library (Master Curriculum, Lesson Plans, Exam Bank, Competency Tracker, Trainee Handbook, SSE Mentorship Pack, Experienced Hand track, Program Owner's Guide, and Equipment Documentation). You will not set program policy — that authority sits with the Program Owner — but you will make sure every employee runs on time, on brand, and fully compliant. Schedule and run each 5-day orientation cohort end-to-end, including room/site logistics, materials, and equipment. Coordinate department head and subject-matter-expert presenters, confirming topics, timing, and materials ahead of each session. Deliver or co-facilitate select sessions, including portions of OSHA and general oil & gas technical training. Track trainee attendance, competency sign-offs, and assessment results using the Competency Matrix Tracker. Administer the Exam/Assessment Bank and route results to the Program Owner and department heads. Distribute the Trainee Handbook/Glossary and support the SSE Mentorship Pack pairing process. Coordinate the accelerated 3-day track for experienced lateral hires. Flag content gaps, outdated material, or safety-critical issues to the Program Owner rather than editing controlled documents directly. Maintain accurate cohort records to support the 30/60/90-day new hire check-in schedule. Uphold MidAtlantic brand standards across all printed materials, certificates, and presentations. Qualifications 2+ years coordinating training, onboarding, or L&D programs, ideally in oil & gas, energy, industrial, or another safety-regulated field. Working familiarity with OSHA training requirements; direct oil & gas industry training experience is a strong plus. Comfort presenting to and coordinating with management, including department heads and site leadership. Strong organizational skills — able to run multi-day, multi-presenter programs without dropping details. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; comfort with LMS or training-tracking tools a plus. Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical and safety material to a range of experience levels. Willingness to travel to field sites as cohorts require.
