We're looking for someone to join our team as an Associate Director-Clinics who:

The Associate Director - Clinics (AD) is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to multiple medical practices within Clinica Sierra Vista’s (CSV) regional areas of operation. The AD will support and oversee clinic operations, ensuring high-quality care delivery, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory requirements. The role includes developing and implementing operational processes, monitoring performance metrics, and driving patient-centered improvements to support the organization’s mission and values. The AD serves as a key collaborator with executive leadership and clinical teams to achieve organizational goals.


Essential Functions:

  • Embrace and champion CSV's strategic plan and production system, fostering a success-oriented environment.  

  • Serve as a role model for CSV's values, mission, and vision, consistently prioritizing patient care and experience. 

  • Collaborate with the Chief Administrative Officer to develop and execute annual operational plans and budgets that align with organizational goals. 

  • Direct and oversee daily operations of assigned clinics, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. 

  • Develop, implement, and monitor standardized workflows and operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction. 

  • Coordinate clinic schedules, resource allocation, and staffing to optimize service delivery and accessibility.

  • Review and address incident reports, safety issues, and operational risks promptly.

  • Analyze clinic performance metrics, including patient encounters, no-show rates, and productivity, to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Ensuring sites are at 100% scheduled and productivity goals. 

  • Lead initiatives to improve patient retention, access to care, and overall experience.

  • Conduct audits to ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of patient records.

  • Provide administrative oversight for Practice Managers and direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to team members.

  • Facilitate training programs to ensure staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills required for their roles.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies, including infection control, safety, and HIPAA.

  • Work with HR and other departments to address and resolve employee issues and complaints effectively.

  • Serve as a liaison between clinics and executive leadership, representing clinic interests in meetings and on committees.

  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to support quality improvement and patient care initiatives.

  • Participate in the implementation and optimization of the EPIC EHR system and other technology platforms.

  • Facilitate procurement and management of clinic supplies and equipment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational objectives.


You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Bustiness Administration, or related field required. Master's degree preferred or 10 years' experience in Healthcare Administration with Clinic oversight. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role. 
  • Experience in federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) strongly preferred.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Comprehensive understanding of clinic operations, including scheduling, billing, and patient management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial and operational data to drive decision-making.
  • Must be able to work a full-time schedule.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screening (background check, drug tests, and references).
  • Must be able to comply with organizational behavioral standards.
