JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
A Branch Supervisor II directs and administers the programs to accomplish the functional task and overall development within a technical or administrative section and is responsible for the organization, tasking, prioritization, and supervision of all personnel within the section.
Employee will be responsible to perform the following functions/duties:
- Establish technical and procedural guidelines to meet the needs of the work unit/section in accordance with company and customer requirements
- Manage the technical performance of work assigned to the section
- Interview job candidates and make decisions or recommend personnel actions such as hiring, discipline, and termination
- Maintain current operational status information and assessments on projects, budgets, and development plans
- Evaluate and make adjustments in procedures or re-assign priorities to projects/tasks, as needed, to keep activities on schedule and within budgetary limits
- Oversee and monitor unit compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and process improvement goals and standards
- Ensure appropriate training is provided to unit personnel to promote continuous improvement of services to the customer
- Interact and coordinate with the customer on a personal basis, as required, to ensure all customer requirements or agreements are being met
- Periodically evaluate the performance of subordinates
- Perform other job-related duties, as required
RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION
In this pivotal leadership role, the selected incumbent will act as the fulcrum of expertise, strategically orchestrating the intricate functionalities of multiple specialized units -- encompassing the JT4 Communications Center (COMM), Operations & Maintenance Team (O&M), Test Sustainment Team (TST), Facilities and Logistic Support Team, and a team of supervisors. This position requires an incumbent capable of harmonizing diverse technical domains to culminate in organizational excellence. The incumbent is expected to be versatile in various technological disciplines and agile in adopting, adapting, leveraging, and integrating emerging technologies and methodologies.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Employ unparalleled expertise overseeing the activities Communication Center, ensuring the seamless integration and optimal functionality of voice and data networks.
- To fortify Range-to-Range connectivity and enhance operational efficacy while demonstrating mastery in managing sophisticated Range infrastructure and its various sub-systems and components, including technologies associated with RDATS, NGDATS, and Haivision.
- Call upon deep expertise to properly direct the Operations and Maintenance Team, focusing on sophisticated data capturing, data processing, and data display within various implementations of mission control environments.
- Uphold and implement best practices associated with data encryption and protection protocols, safeguarding the integrity of sensitive information and Range assets.
- Provide guidance on advance system security by strategically integrating technologies such as Active Directory, ACAS, SCAP/SCAN, and related technologies.
- Display proficiency in guiding the Test Sustainment Team, emphasizing rigorous testing, maintenance, and sustainment of mission-critical systems and equipment.
- Apply expert systems engineering methodologies while adhering to the Range ECR/CCR process and facilitate seamless system transitions and turnovers.
- Ensure compliance with RMF and ATO protocols while employing advanced cybersecurity strategies to fortify Ranges systems, equipment, and assets.
- Lead the Facilities and Logistics support team to focus on meticulous facility maintenance and strategic material control.
- Oversee comprehensive equipment management practices, ensuring sustained operational readiness and longevity.
- Exemplify in-depth knowledge of HR policies and procedures, cultivating an environment of leadership, empowerment, and growth.
- Orchestrate detailed reporting protocols aligning with organizational strategies to exceed customer expectations.
- Foster a culture of individualized development leveraging sophisticated techniques in cross-range utilization and RCRR procedures.
- Drive innovation in capturing, reporting, and implementation while directing the organization toward its visionary objectives.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- The candidate must exhibit a profound reservoir of knowledge across the specified areas, demonstrating expertise in the JT4 Communication Center support, Operations and Maintenance support, Test Sustainment Team support, Facilities and Logistics support, systems engineering, and nuanced HR policies.
- Advanced expertise in system security, RMF and ATO procedures, facility maintenance, and innovation is imperative.

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree or a combination of equivalent formal academic, military, or technical training and related experience, or 12 years of experience in a related field and 4 years of experience in a supervisory/lead role are required for this position.
In addition, a Branch Supervisor II must possess the following qualifications:
- In-depth working knowledge of related career fields such as technical trades or scientific and engineering professions
- In-depth knowledge of the principles of advanced management obtained through formal or self-study
- Understanding of the operational philosophy and business nature of the company
- Familiarity with computer-based management tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent planning/organizational skills
- The candidate must possess a valid, state issued driver's license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
SALARY
The expected pay range for this position is $135,000 to $170,000 annually.Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is primarily sedentary in an office in a Base Operations environment. Some walking, stooping, bending, climbing stairs, stretching, and lifting (up to 25 pounds) is required. Travel to remote company work locations may be required.
